SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Without objection, Rule 5.36 of the Rules of the Board of Supervisors was suspended to grant
            privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).


            Supervisor Dorsey introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Luke Martin (San
            Francisco Police Department) on the occasion of his promotion from Captain to Commander and in
            recognition of his exceptional public service to San Francisco and District 6, in particular. Michelle
            Delaney provided additional commending remarks.

            Supervisor Fielder introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Jolene’s Bar,
            accepted by Jolene Linsangan, owner, in recognition of their accomplishments as an LGBTQ small
            business and continued community support.

            Supervisor Walton introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the First Class of
            Women Police Officers in San Francisco (the 126th Recruitment Class), including Arlene Drummer,
            Vickie Quinn, Maureen Damico, Pamela Meeds, Terrye Ivy, Jackie Jehl, Mary Patrie, and Gladys
            Jackson, in recognition of their notable accomplishments making history and breaking boundaries
            to pave the way for so many women police officers who came after them.

            Supervisor Chen introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to the Central Drug
            Store, accepted by Jerry Tonelli, owner, on the occasion of his retirement and in recognition of their
            accomplishments as a successful legacy business and continued community support.

            Supervisor Sherrill introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Darlene Armanino,
            Commission Secretary (San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System), on the occasion of her
            retirement after more than 50 years of public service to the City and County of San Francisco.

            Supervisor Mahmood introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Muhammad
            Yasir in honor of South Asian American Heritage Month and in recognition of his accomplishments
            and continued community support. Supervisors Chen, Fielder, and Walton shared in this
            commendation.
