            The Board of Supervisors of the City and County of San Francisco met in regular session on
            Tuesday, July 15, 2025, with President Rafael Mandelman presiding.

            President Mandelman called the meeting to order at 2:04 p.m.



ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
            On the call of the roll, Supervisors Chan, Chen, Dorsey, Engardio, Fielder, Mahmood, Mandelman,
            Melgar, Sauter, Sherrill, and Walton were noted present.

            All Members were present.


            President Mandelman presented the ancestral homeland acknowledgement of the Ramaytush
            Ohlone, who are the original inhabitants of the San Francisco Peninsula, pursuant to Board Rule
            4.7.1.

            President Mandelman led the Members of the Board and the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance to
            the Flag of the United States of America, pursuant to Board Rule 4.9.



COMMUNICATIONS
            Angela Calvillo, Clerk of the Board, welcomed members of the public to attend Board meetings and
            provide comment in-person or view the meeting live on SFGovTV's award winning Cable Channel 26
            or at www.sfgovtv.org. Those requiring interpretation services should contact the Office of the Clerk
            of the Board at least two business days in advance of the meeting, pursuant to Administrative Code,
            Section 91.7.

            Clerk Calvillo informed the Board and members of the public that language access requests were

            received to allow a member of the public to provide their remarks at the beginning of public
            comment (see public comment on Page 631).

            President Mandelman inquired whether a Member of the Board had any corrections to the June 10,
            2025, Regular Board Meeting Minutes, or the June 11, 2025, June 12, 2025, or June 13, 2025,
            Special Meeting Minutes at the Budget and Appropriations Committee Meetings, which constituted
            quorums of the Board of Supervisors, as presented. There were no corrections requested from any
            Member of the Board.
            Supervisor Walton, seconded by Supervisor Sauter, moved to approve the June 10, 2025, Regular
            Board Meeting Minutes, and the June 11, 2025, June 12, 2025, and June 13, 2025, Special Meeting
            Minutes at the Budget and Appropriations Committee Meetings, which constituted quorums of the

            Building Inspection (“DBI”); 4) eliminate referral of Limited Live Performance and Fixed Place Outdoor
            Amplified Sound permits to the Planning Department; 5) relax public notice requirements on the
            applicant and the Entertainment Commission with respect to applications for Place of Entertainment,
            Limited Live Performance, and Fixed Place Amplified Sound permits; 6) require the Entertainment
            Commission to hold a hearing on any application for a One Time Event Permit or One Time Outdoor
            Amplified Sound Permit in cases where an applicant has previously obtained 12 or more such
            permits in the same calendar year, rather than the preceding 12 months; 7) for Extended-Hours
            Permits, eliminate referral to DBI, and eliminate referral to the Department of Public Health and the
            Fire Department in cases where the applicant or permittee already holds valid permits from those
            departments; and 8) amend definitions relevant to noise limit enforcement.
