SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Without objection, Rule 5.36 of the Rules of the Board of Supervisors was suspended to grant
            privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).


            Supervisor Sherrill introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Harry Breaux in
            honor of Pride Month and in recognition of his accomplishments as an HIV activist.

            Supervisor Mahmood introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Minister Marvin
            K. White, Minister of Celebration (Glide Memorial Church), in recognition of his accomplishments as
            an inspirational leader who impacts the community through faith, justice, and celebration.

            Supervisor Dorsey introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to James Haas in
            honor of Pride Month and in recognition of his many accomplishments as a writer, longtime attorney,
            and activist in local government.

            Supervisor Fielder introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Malia Spanyol
            (Mother) in honor of Pride Month and in recognition of her accomplishments as a business owner and
            queer advocate.

            Supervisor Chan introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Madeleine Lim,
            Executive Director and Artistic Director (Queer Women of Color Media Aarts Project), in honor of
            Pride Month and in recognition of her accomplishments as an award-winning filmmaker.

            President Mandelman introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Rebecca Rolfe,
            Executive Director (San Francisco LGBT Center) in honor of Pride Month, on the occasion of her
            upcoming retirement after more than 22 years, and in recognition of her leadership and advocacy.

            President Mandelman introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Ronald
            Gallman, Director of Education Programs and Youth Orchestra (San Francisco Symphony), in honor
            of Pride Month and in recognition of his artistic accomplishments implementing and managing
            extensive educational programs.
