Supervisor Melgar introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Mark Selby and Angelica Medina-Selby in recognition of their exemplary volunteer efforts dedicating weekends picking up litter around their neighborhood in Forest Knolls and other areas around the City. Supervisor Fielder introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Lamea Abuelrous, owner of Temos Coffee, in recognition of her accomplishments and continued community support. Supervisor Engardio introduced, welcomed, and presented Certificates of Honor to the Abraham Lincoln High School’s Mock Trial Team for their first City Championship, accepted by Jesse Lanier, and the Boys Basketball Team for their 4th Citywide Championship, accepted by Coach Carl Jacobs, in honor of their team members, student managers, coaches and advisors. Supervisor Mahmood introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Ghai Shami, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (EMPIRE), in honor of Arab American Heritage Month and in recognition of his accomplishments and continued community support. Supervisor Walton shared in this commendation. President Mandelman introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Said and Hisham Bsisso (Noe Hill Market) in honor of Arab American Heritage Month and in recognition of their accomplishments and continued community support.
