            Motion approving the Mayor’s nomination for the appointment of Eleanor Blume to the Public Works
            Commission, for a term ending July 2, 2026. (Clerk of the Board)
            (Charter, Section 4.141, provides that this nomination is subject to confirmation by the Board of
            Supervisors and shall be the subject of a public hearing and vote within 60 days from the date the

SPECIAL ORDER 2:30 P.M. - Recognition of Commendations
            Without objection, Rule 5.36 of the Rules of the Board of Supervisors was suspended to grant
            privilege of the floor to the following guest(s).


            Supervisor Mandelman introduced, welcomed, and presented a Certificate of Honor to Noe Walks,
            accepted by Chris Nanda, on the occasion of the group’s third anniversary and in recognition of their
            accomplishments building community.

            Supervisor Preston introduced, welcomed, and presented a posthumous Certificate of Honor for
            Alireza “Ali” Gharavi, the beloved owner of Central Coffee Tea and Spice, accepted by his brothers
            Abdee Gharavi and Mohammad Gharavi, in recognition of his many accomplishments as a small
            business owner making connections, showing kindness and building community.
